New Office Fitout

In this new fitout of 300 sqm office space for Strata Managers Lamb and Walters we removed a labyrinth of old-style partitioned office spaces to make way for a contemporary open plan work environment.

Upon arrival at reception, an informal meeting space is partly visible behind a screen which has been lasercut with the clients logo. In keeping with the brief, a formal meeting room is enclosed only in clear glass to create a sense of space and transparency.

New fitout for Jewellery Store

This brand new store for Zanardi Jewellers was an interesting design challenge – to incorporate the branding and finishes of watchmaker Maurice Lacroix and Swarovski Crystal into the finishes pallette for the store itself.

The combination of warm Ebony veneer and white leather lining to the display cases, with a series of highly reflective bronze mirror blades supporting the shopfront display has given the store a dynamic new presence and a much more functional layout for shoppers and staff.

New courtyard style Beach House

The client for this new house in Forster wanted to create a casual resort-style dwelling with a beach feel. Great views to a golf course to the south prompted us to design the house around a central courtyard which brings in plenty of northern sun and allows good cross ventilation. The house is very eco-friendly, with low-E glazing throughout, maximum natural light and ventilation, LED light fittings, insulation in-slab, solar hot water and electricity.

After a challenging Council process to achieve off-street parking, this fun little freestanding house in the backstreets of Redfern will be starting construction soon. Visit again soon to watch the project evolve on site.

We are currently providing advice on-site and details for construction for this luxury residence which was designed by David Naylor Architects.

Major renovation of existing Californian Bungalow

The brief for this residence in Kensington was to maximise the feeling of open space. To achieve this we designed a floating skillion roof over new living areas and a whole wall of glass facing a garden, which gives the sensation of being outside. On entry there is also a view directly over a lap pool – which is centred on the original axis of the house.

Full re-build of existing Inner City Terrace

Retaining the street façade and front rooms only allowed us to create plenty of space for new kitchen and living areas which open seamlessly to a rear courtyard. Upstairs a master bedroom with walk through robe overlooks the courtyard and an additional level with a roof terrace allows views over the city.

We developed the design of this project from a pre-existing DA to a new DA and full construction documentation with contract administration throughout the process of the build.

New 5 bedroom house on steep site in Forster NSW.

This exciting new house in Forster is nearing completion. Sloping south and west, the site created a few tricky design challenges which we think we’ve resolved with some split levels and a saw tooth roof for northern light. Stay tuned for pics of the completed project in late 2011

Rear additions to existing house.

A new side entry and master bedroom with ensuite accompany a large garden facing living area added to the rear of this existing house in Leichhardt. The rear feature wall of the house retains some of the existing fabric of the building through the re-use of face bricks.
